May 12, 2023, is the date that all Hunter x Hunter fans should mark as Shuiesha revealed that the anime is inspiring a stage play. The highly anticipated theatrical production, directed and written by Akira Yamazaki, will be held at the esteemed Galaxy Theatre in Tokyo from May 12th to 28th. Adding to the sensory experience, renowned composer Gō Sakabe has lent his musical prowess to the production. The cast of the play is as follows:

“Hunter x Hunter” is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi. The series was first serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in March 3, 1998, and has been ongoing ever since.
The story follows a young boy named Gon Freecss, who discovers that his father, Ging, is a legendary Hunter – a member of a group of skilled individuals who embark on dangerous and challenging adventures. Gon decides to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a Hunter himself, and sets out on a journey to find him.
