Demon Slayer Voice Actors

Demon Slayer has definitely made its way up to some of the best Shonen anime of all time. With such a massive fan following, Demon Slayer broke many records and had set the bar very high for other Shonen anime. Today, we’ll be talking about some of the voice actors that did a phenomenal job voicing the characters of the series. They played a major role in making the series flawless along with a lot of other things. So, without further ado, let’s talk about some of the best voice actors that voiced the characters of Demon Slayer.

Tanjiro Kamado: Satomi Satou

This one is a bit of a shocker as we all thought Tanjiro was voiced by a man but in fact, Tanjiro was voiced by a woman. He’s not the only one who is voiced by a woman though. There is a variety of female voice actors portraying male characters such as Luffy from One Piece. Satomi Satou is known to have voiced many versatile characters, mostly females, in the anime. She has also voiced a few male characters because of the diversity in her voice. We can’t really tell if Tanjiro was voiced by a woman as she did an amazing job imitating the voice of a young man. She has previously voiced Ritsu from K-On and Eru Chitanda from Hyouka.

Nezuko Kamado: Akemi Kito

Akemi Kito surely didn’t have to do much with the voice acting as our beloved Nezuko didn’t speak much throughout the series. We would definitely be overjoyed to hear her speak once as we know Akemi has an extremely sweet voice. Akemi has voiced a lot of supporting characters in many anime series. Her roles include Hass from SSSS. Gridman and Kaho Hinata from Blend S.

Zenitsu Agatsuma: Hiro Shimono

I personally like the voice actor of Zenitsu Agatsuma and how well he voiced his character that actually suited him really well. Hiro Shimono definitely took out the best in Zenitsu Agatsuma’s character and I’m really impressed with that. Hiro Shimono is known for his voice acting of Dabi from My Hero Academia and Connie Springer from Attack on Titan.

Inosuke Hashibara: Yoshitsugi Matsuoka

Inosuke Hashibara is one such character whose voice actor definitely had to suffer a lot. The reason? Because he’s an extremely noisy and irritating character. We commend Yoshitsugi Matsuoka for voicing the character of Inosuke Hashibara. He did his job really well and his voice fits perfectly with the character of Inosuke Hashibara. We hope his throat was okay after all the shouting and growling. We know Yoshitsugi Matsuoka for voicing characters like Souma from Food Wars and Sora from No Game No Life.

Giyu Tomioka: Takahiro Sakurai

Though Giyu didn’t speak much throughout the series, we love how his voice sounds. Nobody other than Takahiro Sakura could’ve pulled off the character of Giyu Tomioka. His voice has a certain charm and we really want to keep listening to it. But it’s just sad that we didn’t get to hear Giyu Tomioka much. We might listen to him speak more in the new season. Takahiro Sakurai has formerly voiced characters like Yuu from D. Gray Man, Kishibe Rohan from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures and Suzaka Kururugi from Code Geass.

Shinobu Kocho: Sayori Hayami

Who doesn’t love Shinobu Kocho? Her character is pretty decent and likeable and the voice behind her is none other than Sayori Hayami. I don’t think Shinobu’s character could be voiced better than that. The sweetness in her voice just melts our hearts. We really appreciate Sayori Hayami for creating such a beautiful voice for the character of Shinobu Kocho. Sayori Hayami has voiced Fubuki from One Punch Man, Shinoa Hiiragi from Seraph of the End, and Rachel from Tower of God.

Kyojuro Rengoku: Hino Satoshi

Kyojuro Rengoku gives fatherly vibes and the voice actor behind him is none other than Hino Satoshi. Hino’s voice really suited well with the character of Kyojuro Rengoku. We love his character even more because of the phenomenal voice acting done by Hino Satoshi. We know Hino Satoshi from his roles as Gauche from Black Clover, Momonga from Overlord and Sai from Naruto Shippuden.

Tengen Uzui: Katsuyuki Konoshi

Our “flamboyant” Hashira, Tengen Uzui, is voiced by none other than the super talented and diverse Katsuyuki Konoshi. The coming arc fro Demon Slayer is going to feature Tengen Uzui and we’re going to really enjoy his character all thanks to Katsuyuki Konoshi. He has formerly voiced characters like Kamina from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Fuegeleon Vermillion from Black Clover and Braht from Akame ga Kill.

Muichiro Tokito: Kengo Kawanishi

Muichiro Tokito is another such character from Demon Slayer that we don’t know much about yet. All we know is that he is an airhead and tends to forget things. We haven’t heard him speaking much and the voice behind him is Kengo Kawanishi. We’re really excited to hear the voice of Muichiro Tokito properly as his voice actor is pretty skilled and knows how to do his job. Kengo Kawanishi is famous for his voice acting for the characters like Ritsu Sohma from Fruits Basket, Ley Batenkaitos from Re: Zero and Shouji Satou from Food Wars.

Mitsuri Kanroji: Kana Hanazawa

Mitsuri Kanroji is one of the prettiest characters in Demon Slayer and her voice is as pretty as her. The talented voice actress behind the character of Mitsuri Kanroji is Kana Hanazawa who is extremely pretty herself. I personally think no one other than Kana could pull off the adorable character of Mitsuri Kanroji. Kana Hanazawa’s voice fits perfectly with the character of Mitsuri Kanroji. She is famous for voicing the characters like Rize Kamishiro from Tokyo Ghoul, Satomi Murano from Parasyte and Akane Tsunemori from Psycho Pass.

Obanai Iguro: Kenichi Suzumura

Obanai Iguro, the sleazy hashira, isn’t really loved by many because of what he tried to do with Nezuko. But we never know how things will turn out as the story progresses. We do get the strong hate towards Demons. But Obanai often goes overboard with his hate. The voice behind him is Kenichi Suzumura. We’d love to listen to more of his voice and we hope Obanai gets some more screen time as the story progresses. Kenichi Suzumura has previously voiced characters like Crowly Eusford from Seraph of the End, Lavi from D. Gray Man and Atsushi Murasakibara from Kuroko No Basket.

Gyomei Himejima: Tomokazu Sugita

Gyomei Himejima is one pious hashira and his character seems very interesting to us. The super talented Tomokazu Sugita is the voice behind him. Gyomei Himejima’s voice sounds perfect for his character and we would love to listen to more of it in the upcoming seasons. Tomokazu Sugita is famous for his voice acting for Etsuya Eizan from Food Wars, Escanor from Seven Deadly Sins and Rudeus Greyrat from Mushoku Tensei.

Sanemi Shinazugawa: Tomokazu Seki

Sanemi Shinazugawa is another such character with such a mesmerizing and charming voice. The voice behind him is none other than Tomokazu Seki. He did an amazing job voicing the character of Sanemi Shinazugawa and we really appreciate his hard work. Tomokazu Seki is known for his voice acting for the characters like Gilgamesh from Fate/Stay Night, Koro Sensei from Assassination Classroom and Panda from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Kanao Tsuyuri: Ueda Reina

Has anyone heard Kanao Tsuyuri speaking throughout the series? We don’t remember hearing it because she’s super quiet and reserved. However, the voice behind her is super-cheerful and adorable Ueda Reina. We would love to hear Kanao Tsuyuri speak more as the story progresses. We can’t wait to hear the sweet voice of Ueda Reina. We know Ueda Reina from her voice acting of Kisa Sohma from Fruits Basket, Aishela from Grancrest Senki and Shuka KArina from Darwin’s Game.

Muzan: Toshihiko Seki

Muzan, the intimidating Demon King, has a very talented and skilled voice behind him. Toshihiro Seki voiced the character of Muzan and we can’t get over how amazingly well he has done his job. He’s one of the best voice actors out there and we commend him for doing such a great job at voicing the complex character of Muzan. Toshihiko Seki is famous for voicing Senketsu from Kill La Kill, Kaien Shiba from Bleach and Yamane from Samurai Champloo.

Conclusion

So, here were the voice actors of some of the major characters present in Demon Slayer. Without their hard work and amazing voice acting, Demon Slayer would’ve never been able to gain so much popularity. We hope you liked this list. We’ll definitely come back with more!
